A post does the most good where your audience already is. These tools get it there, and let you take your writing anywhere.
Share kit
Open a published post from Posts, click ⋯ and choose Share kit. You get, written in your voice and ready to paste:
- a paragraph for the video's YouTube description, with the post's link
- YouTube chapters from the video's timestamps, when it has them
- a pinned comment for the video
- a post for X and one for LinkedIn
Each has a Copy button. The link is always the post's real address, on your custom domain if you have one.
Announce new posts in Discord or Slack
- In Discord, open your server's channel settings → Integrations → Webhooks, create one, and copy its URL. In Slack, add an Incoming Webhook and copy its URL.
- Go to Blog, then Settings, and paste it under Announce new posts in Discord or Slack.
- Click Save.
From then on, each new post is announced there when it goes live. Any other https address gets the post as JSON instead, which works with Zapier, Make or your own site.
Review posts before they go live
Tick Review new posts before they go live on your channel in Channels. New posts are saved as drafts, we email you, and your Overview shows how many are waiting. Publish them from Posts, one at a time or several at once.
To see a draft exactly as readers will, open it and click Preview on your blog. To have it go live later, pick a date and time under Publish later and click Schedule.
A call to action and an announcement
Under Blog, then Settings, then General, in the Growth section:
- Call to action after every post puts a line and a button at the end of each post, for your gear list, a course or a Patreon.
- Announcement bar puts one line across the top of every page, for a launch, a sale or a live stream.
Leave the text empty to turn either off.
Feeds
Every blog has an RSS feed at /rss.xml and a JSON Feed at /feed.json. Newsletter tools that send "new post" emails (Mailchimp, Kit, beehiiv) and feed readers use the RSS one; the JSON Feed is easier for showing your latest posts on another site.
Edit with AI
On a post's page, type what you'd like changed, like "make the intro shorter" or "the price is now $45", and click Edit with AI. Only the passages that need it change, and History can undo it.
Download everything
On Posts, click Download all for a .zip with every post as a Markdown file, with its title, date and video link at the top. It opens in any editor and imports into most blogging tools.
